Subscriptions and API are different payments
A subscription (ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Cursor Pro) is charged automatically every month or year. API access at most services is billed separately: you top up a credit balance in advance and requests are deducted from it.
For a subscription, keep the renewal amount plus a margin on the card by the billing date. For the API, one-off top-ups are easier: only turn on auto-recharge with a cap.
Which card to choose
Most AI tools bill in dollars and are on the USD Visa list — ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, GitHub Copilot, Suno, ElevenLabs and more. Services outside the list, such as DeepSeek, are paid with the EUR Mastercard.
Common reasons for a decline
- The service checks the card with a small temporary hold — keep a margin on the card.
- Tax is added to the price and the total ends up above the card balance.
- Too many attempts in a row — wait and try again.
- Some services check the account's region — that's the service's rule, not the card's.

FAQ
Can I pay for several AI tools with one card?
Yes. But with many subscriptions, a card per service makes spending easier to track and unused plans easier to turn off.
How do I pay for the OpenAI or Anthropic API?
In the developer console, open billing, add the card and top up your credit balance. The ChatGPT and Claude pages in our catalog have the details.
Why was a small amount charged and then returned?
That's how a service checks the card when you add it: it holds a small amount and then releases it. The timing depends on the service and the payment network.
How much do I need to put on the card?
At issue, from $30 / €30 goes straight onto the card. After that, top up from $30 / €30; the top-up fee is 4%. Keep the charge amount on the card plus a small margin.
Is it safe?
Only you see the card details — in the bot and your dashboard. 3-D Secure codes arrive in Telegram, and you can freeze the card in one tap.
