How to pay for Claude with a VirtCardPay card
- Open @VirtCardPaybot in Telegram and press Start.
- Top up your balance with USDT (TRC-20 or BEP-20) or TON.
- Issue a Visa card in US dollars (USD): Claude is on the list of services it works with.
- Subscribe in Claude under Settings → Billing, which is also where you update the card and download invoices. API credits are bought separately in Claude Console under Settings → Billing → Buy credits.
- If a 3-D Secure confirmation is requested, the code arrives as a message in the bot.

Paying for Claude: what to know
- Prices on the pricing page exclude tax, so the checkout total can be higher. Keep some extra balance on the card.
- Pro is available yearly for $200 paid upfront; Max starts at $100 and is billed monthly only.
- A subscription doesn't fund the API: Console credits are bought separately, are non-refundable and expire one year after purchase.
- If you turn on auto-reload in Console while your balance is already below the threshold, you're charged right away, so top up the card first.
- A subscription bought in the iOS or Android app is billed by the App Store or Google Play, not by the card saved in Claude.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.

FAQ
Can I use one card for both Claude Pro and the API?
Yes, but they are separate payments: the subscription is paid in Claude under Settings → Billing, and API credits are bought in Claude Console. API usage is never charged to your plan.
What happens if my Claude renewal fails?
Your account may be downgraded to Free. Check the payment status in Settings → Billing, then top up the card or add a new one.
Can I change my billing date?
Not directly. To move it, cancel and resubscribe on the date you want.
How much do I need to put on the card?
At issue, from $30 / €30 goes straight onto the card. After that, top up from $30 / €30; the top-up fee is 4%. Keep the charge amount on the card plus a small margin.
Is it safe?
Only you see the card details — in the bot and your dashboard. 3-D Secure codes arrive in Telegram, and you can freeze the card in one tap.
