How to pay for Twilio with a VirtCardPay card
- Open @VirtCardPaybot in Telegram and press Start.

Paying for Twilio: what to know
- Once upgraded, a Twilio project auto-recharges by default when the balance drops below $10. If you'd rather not be charged automatically, turn auto-recharge off and top up by hand.
- Twilio emails you when the balance hits $5. If it reaches zero or goes negative, the project can be suspended, so top up early.
- Twilio's payment processor runs a strict address check (AVS). Enter the card's billing address in full, spelling out street names and leaving out the apartment number.
- Twilio can only charge cards in credit mode. If a payment fails, check the card balance and contact @VirtCardPaySupportbot.
- On top of $0.0083 per SMS segment (US), carrier fees and monthly number rental add up — include them when you top up.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.

On the US pricing page at the time of checking, outbound and inbound SMS were $0.0083 per segment of up to 160 characters, plus carrier fees. A long code number was $1.15/month and toll-free $2.15/month.
How do I add funds to Twilio manually?
In Console, go to Billing Overview → Current Balance → Add Funds, choose Payment, enter the amount and card, and click Add to my balance.
Why won't Twilio accept my card?
Usually because of an address mismatch — Twilio's address check is stricter than most. Other causes are insufficient funds or the bank blocking a charge from a US merchant. Check the balance in the bot and the address, and contact support if it still fails.
Will Twilio charge my card on its own?
Yes, if auto-recharge is on; by default it kicks in when the balance falls below $10. If you don't use auto-recharge, you top up manually via Add Funds.
How much do I need to put on the card?
