Paying for ManyChat: what to know
- Prices on the site exclude tax; the final amount depends on your billing country and is shown before you pay.
- Pro includes 2,500 active contacts a month; each extra one costs $0.05 on monthly billing or $0.038 on annual. You can set an overage threshold to cap it.
- An active contact is anyone who interacted with you through ManyChat in the current billing month. Deleting contacts doesn't reset the counter mid-cycle.
- Annual billing is cheaper — Pro is $29/month ($348/year) versus $39 monthly — but the year is charged upfront.
- The Free plan needs no card; paid plans accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.
