How to pay for Apify with a VirtCardPay card
- Open @VirtCardPaybot in Telegram and press Start.
- Top up your balance with USDT (TRC-20 or BEP-20) or TON.
- Issue a Visa card in US dollars (USD): Apify is on the list of services it works with.
- Manage your plan and card in Apify Console under Billing → Subscription (console.apify.com/billing/subscription). Invoices are on the Invoices tab.
- If a 3-D Secure confirmation is requested, the code arrives as a message in the bot.

Paying for Apify: what to know
- The plan price doubles as prepaid credit: Starter at $19/month includes $19 of platform usage. Whatever you don't use expires at the end of the cycle.
- On paid plans overage doesn't stop your runs; it goes on the next invoice. But once it reaches $20 on Starter or $200 on higher plans, Apify invoices it right away — keep funds on the card.
- Cap your spend on the Limits tab: by default the limit equals your prepaid usage, and you can raise it.
- Annual billing is 10% cheaper, but the full year is charged upfront.
- The free plan needs no card, but once its $5 is used up you're blocked until next month — there's no overage on it.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.

Why did Apify invoice me mid-month?
That happens when overage hits the threshold — $20 on Starter, $200 on higher plans. Apify then bills the overage immediately instead of waiting for the cycle to end.
Does unused usage roll over?
No. Prepaid usage expires at the end of each billing cycle.
Do I need a card for Apify's free plan?
No, the free plan with $5 of monthly usage works without a card. You only need one for a paid subscription.
How much do I need to put on the card?
