How to pay for Retool with a VirtCardPay card
- Open @VirtCardPaybot in Telegram and press Start.
- Top up your balance with USDT (TRC-20 or BEP-20) or TON.
- Issue a Visa card in US dollars (USD): Retool is on the list of services it works with.
- An org admin picks the plan under Settings → Billing. Billing location and currency are changed from the lower right corner of the same page.
- If a 3-D Secure confirmation is requested, the code arrives as a message in the bot.

Paying for Retool: what to know
- Billing location and currency can only be changed before you choose a plan. Set USD up front to match a dollar card — it's not a simple switch afterwards.
- Monthly plans charge nothing upfront: at the end of each cycle Retool counts builders and internal users and bills the total, so top up the card before month-end.
- Users added mid-cycle aren't prorated, and an internal user upgraded to builder is charged at the builder rate.
- On annual plans the committed seats are paid upfront, and anything above that is billed monthly in arrears.
- ACH bank wire is limited to Enterprise and contracted Business plans; everyone else pays by card.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.

When does Retool take the first payment?
On a monthly plan, a month after you subscribe — the invoice comes at the end of the cycle based on user counts. On an annual plan, immediately at signup.
How much does Retool cost?
On retool.com/pricing (European version) at the time of checking, Team was €9 per builder and €5 per internal user per month billed yearly (€11 and €6 monthly); Business was €46 and €14 (€60 and €17). Other regions may see another currency.
Can I pay Retool by bank transfer?
Only on Enterprise or Business Committed plans with a signed contract and an account manager. Team and Business without a contract are paid by card.
How do I change Retool's billing currency?
From the lower right corner of Settings → Billing, but only before a plan is selected. Once subscribed, you'll need Retool support.
How much do I need to put on the card?
At issue, from $30 / €30 goes straight onto the card. After that, top up from $30 / €30; the top-up fee is 4%. Keep the charge amount on the card plus a small margin.
Is it safe?
Only you see the card details — in the bot and your dashboard. 3-D Secure codes arrive in Telegram, and you can freeze the card in one tap.
