Paying for Opus Clip: what to know
- Starter is monthly only ($15). Only Pro has an annual option: $174 a year, or $14.50 a month instead of $29.
- You can start the Starter or Pro trial without a card and add one when you decide to stay on a paid plan.
- A new card takes effect from the next billing cycle, so add it and set it as default before your renewal date.
- You can't add a VAT number yet. Opus Clip says the feature is in development.
- Opus Clip may suspend accounts and forfeit credits over suspicious payment activity, so stick to one card of your own.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.

Do I need a card for the Opus Clip trial?
In most countries, no: the trial and the free plan start without a card. You add one when you move to a paid plan.
How do I change my card?

Only for Pro, at $174 a year. Starter is billed monthly.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
ACH and wire transfer are for the Business plan only. Starter and Pro take cards and other Stripe-supported methods.
