How to pay for Uber with a VirtCardPay card
- Open @VirtCardPaybot in Telegram and press Start.
- Top up your balance with USDT (TRC-20 or BEP-20) or TON.
- Issue a Mastercard in euros (EUR): it has no merchant restrictions.
- Add the card in the app under Account → Wallet → Add payment method, and pick it below the request button when you book a ride.
- If a 3-D Secure confirmation is requested, the code arrives as a message in the bot.

Paying for Uber: what to know
- When you add a new card, Uber may place a small hold to verify it. It isn't a charge, but the card needs funds already at this step.
- When you request a ride, Uber holds the upfront fare shown in the app. If that amount isn't available, the trip won't go through, so keep a buffer in case the price changes.
- Uber cancels the hold right after the trip, but banks usually take 3–5 business days and sometimes 1–2 weeks. Meanwhile you may see both the hold and the final charge.
- Rides abroad are charged in local currency and converted to euros at the card network's rate, so the euro amount may differ slightly from the in-app price.
- Holds can also appear after cancelled requests. Don't freeze the card right after a ride until the final charge and any wait or cancellation fee have posted.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.
- Still not working? Message support at @VirtCardPaySupportbot and we'll sort it out.
FAQ
Why did Uber take money for a ride that didn't happen?
Most likely it's a temporary hold, not a payment. Uber cancels it and your bank usually releases the funds within 3–5 business days.
How much should I keep on the card for an Uber ride?
At least the upfront fare shown in the app, ideally more, since Uber holds that amount when you request.
Can I pay for Uber abroad with a euro card?
Yes, Mastercard EUR works with ride-hailing. The fare is charged in local currency and converted to euros.
How much do I need to put on the card?
At issue, from $30 / €30 goes straight onto the card. After that, top up from $30 / €30; the top-up fee is 4%. Keep the charge amount on the card plus a small margin.
Is it safe?
Only you see the card details — in the bot and your dashboard. 3-D Secure codes arrive in Telegram, and you can freeze the card in one tap.
