How to pay for Vultr with a VirtCardPay card
- Open @VirtCardPaybot in Telegram and press Start.
- Top up your balance with USDT (TRC-20 or BEP-20) or TON.
- Issue a Visa card in US dollars (USD): Vultr is on the list of services it works with.
- In the Vultr console, go to Account → Billing → Make a Payment to add funds by card in any amount. Vultr asks you to link a card right after signup.
- If a 3-D Secure confirmation is requested, the code arrives as a message in the bot.

The exact amount is shown in the bot before you confirm.
Paying for Vultr: what to know
- When you link a card, Vultr places a temporary authorization to validate it. It isn't a payment, and the bank usually releases it within a few days.
- You can prepay: enter an amount under Make a Payment and your servers draw from that balance, handy if you'd rather Vultr not charge the card on its own.
- Vultr invoices in USD only, so there's no conversion with a Visa USD card.
- Listed prices exclude tax: where Vultr collects VAT or sales tax, it appears as a separate line on the invoice.
- The most recently added card becomes the default and older ones become backups. You can't delete the default card until you set another one.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.
- Still not working? Message support at @VirtCardPaySupportbot and we'll sort it out.
FAQ
Why does Vultr need a card before I create a server?
Vultr uses it to verify your identity and fend off fraud and spam. Once the card is verified, you can deploy freely.
What's the charge that appeared after linking the card?
It's a temporary authorization to validate the card, not a payment. Banks usually release it within a few days.
Can I get invoices in euros?
No, Vultr bills in US dollars only, which suits a Visa USD card.
How much do I need to put on the card?
At issue, from $30 / €30 goes straight onto the card. After that, top up from $30 / €30; the top-up fee is 4%. Keep the charge amount on the card plus a small margin.
Is it safe?
Only you see the card details — in the bot and your dashboard. 3-D Secure codes arrive in Telegram, and you can freeze the card in one tap.
