How to pay for Alibaba Cloud with a VirtCardPay card
- Open @VirtCardPaybot in Telegram and press Start.
- Top up your balance with USDT (TRC-20 or BEP-20) or TON.
- Issue a Visa card in US dollars (USD): Alibaba Cloud is on the list of services it works with.
- In the Expenses and Costs console, open Billing Account and click Add Payment Method under Bind Third-party Payment Method. In the older console it's the Payment Methods page.
- If a 3-D Secure confirmation is requested, the code arrives as a message in the bot.

Paying for Alibaba Cloud: what to know
- After you submit the card, Alibaba Cloud places a $1 pre-authorization and cancels it within 1–5 working days. Make sure at least that dollar is on the card.
- 3-D Secure must be enabled; the confirmation code arrives in the VirtCardPay bot.
- A card can be linked to only one Alibaba Cloud account. If it's on another account, even a deregistered one, unlink it there first.
- Subscriptions are charged when you place the order; pay-as-you-go is charged at a threshold ($1,000 for cards), with the rest billed after the monthly statement.
- Settlement is in US dollars by default, so a Visa USD card avoids conversion.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.
