How to pay for Amazon Web Services with a VirtCardPay card
- Open @VirtCardPaybot in Telegram and press Start.
- Top up your balance with USDT (TRC-20 or BEP-20) or TON.
- Issue a Visa card in US dollars (USD): Amazon Web Services is on the list of services it works with.
- Cards are managed in the Billing and Cost Management console under Payment preferences → Add payment method. That's also where the Verify button is if a card stays unverified.
- If a 3-D Secure confirmation is requested, the code arrives as a message in the bot.

Paying for Amazon Web Services: what to know
- At signup AWS holds $1 (or equivalent) for 3–5 days to verify the account. Keep more than a dollar on the card or signup will stall.
- New accounts start on the Free plan with up to $200 in credits for 6 months. The card is only charged after you upgrade to the Paid plan or turn on paid-only services.
- On the Paid plan you can set a monthly spend limit, which keeps your bill within what's on the card.
- Your bank may ask for extra verification; the 3-D Secure code arrives in the VirtCardPay bot.
- When you add or update a card, AWS immediately charges any unpaid invoices from the previous month to it, so check the card balance first.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.
- Still not working? Message support at @VirtCardPaySupportbot and we'll sort it out.
FAQ
How much does AWS charge at signup?
AWS holds $1 or equivalent for 3–5 days to verify you. It's a hold, not a payment: on the Free plan you pay nothing until you upgrade.
My card shows as unverified in AWS. What now?
Open Payment preferences and click Verify. If that fails, delete the card, add it again and confirm the bank's code.
What's the cheapest server on AWS?
The simplest option is Lightsail: a Linux server with a public IPv4 from $5 a month at a flat price.
How much do I need to put on the card?
At issue, from $30 / €30 goes straight onto the card. After that, top up from $30 / €30; the top-up fee is 4%. Keep the charge amount on the card plus a small margin.
Is it safe?
Only you see the card details — in the bot and your dashboard. 3-D Secure codes arrive in Telegram, and you can freeze the card in one tap.
