Paying for Zoom: what to know
- Annual Pro works out to $14.16 a month versus $16.99 monthly, but the year is charged up front.
- Zoom calculates sales tax or VAT from your Sold To address and shows it in the cart after the billing step, before you confirm.
- If you pay through PayPal, a PayPal balance won't work; you need to pick a card inside PayPal.
- Only the account owner, an admin or a user with billing privileges can buy plans or change the card.
If the payment fails
- Check the balance of the card itself, not the main balance in the bot: the charge goes to the card.
- Re-enter the number, expiry date and CVC: a typo is a common reason for a decline.
- Don't retry many times in a row: payment systems may temporarily decline frequent attempts. Wait and try again.
