A virtual card is a spending tool, but sometimes an unused balance remains that you want to convert back to crypto. For example: you bought a card for a vacation, the vacation ended, and $300 is left. Or plans changed. Here's how to withdraw.

Step 1. Transfer from Card to Main Balance

In the Cards section, select your card. The Top Up function works both ways (depending on the interface; in VirtCardPay there is a separate Withdraw button).

Enter the amount to withdraw from the card. The fee and USD → USDT conversion rate are displayed on the confirmation screen. Confirm – the funds move from the card to the main account.

Important: after withdrawal, the card balance must be at least 0 (or a small remainder if required). Immediately after withdrawal, the card remains active – if you decide to top it up again, you can do so at any time.

Step 2. Withdraw from Main Account to Crypto Wallet

On the main balance, go to the Withdraw section. Select the currency (USDT), network (TRC-20, ERC-20, BEP-20), enter the recipient address and amount.

Before confirming, check:

  • Address. Copied completely, not truncated. Tron addresses start with T, Ethereum with 0x.
  • Network. The selected network matches the address's network. You can send to an exchange in any network it supports; to a cold wallet, only in the network that wallet manages.
  • Network fee. For TRC-20 – $1-2; for ERC-20 – depends on gas at the time of withdrawal.

Step 3. Confirmation and Waiting

After confirmation, the transaction goes into processing. In VirtCardPay, USDT TRC-20 withdrawals usually take 1-5 minutes to appear at the receiving address. ERC-20 – 5-15 minutes.

Large amounts may trigger additional checks – a rare but possible AML procedure. If triggered, support will contact you and request documents.

Taxes

In most jurisdictions, transfers between your own accounts and wallets do not create a taxable event. Taxes apply to selling USDT for fiat, converting to other crypto, staking income – all that is in another section. But check your local rules.

If You Want to Withdraw to Fiat Instead of Crypto

Direct bank withdrawal from VirtCardPay is not supported by the service architecture. If you need fiat, withdraw USDT to an exchange (Binance, Bybit, OKX), sell it for your local currency, and withdraw to a bank account. This is the standard two-step route.
